Botox treatments are charged by different areas of the face and prices start at £220, which is less than £2 a day. The upper face is typically broken into 3 main areas, the eyes and the upper and lower forehead. Botox is also used in the lower face, around the lips, the jawline and the neck area. Individual areas of concern can be treated such as around the eyes or you can have multiple areas treated including the Botox Face Lift that treats the whole face & neck. Anti-Ageing

Botox is clinically proven to prevent and correct the signs of ageing in particular lines and wrinkles of the forhead, frown and crows feet . However this treatment is also very effective at lifting the skin and at Persona one of our most popular requests is the ‘Botox Brow Lift’. We also use Botox around the lower face to lift the jowels, define the jawline and soften lines around the lips, commonly called ‘smokers lines’.

Botox works by relaxing certain facial muscles that cause lines, wrinkles and the skin to droop. Treatment is by injection, is not painful and performed in a couple of minutes. The results are seen usually with a week after treatment although this may vary in individuals. This is the ultimate lunch time procedure as any mild redness that appears after treatment resolves in about 15 mins. Botox® is a brand name for a highly purified derivative protein from the drug botulinium toxin type A. Excessive Sweating / Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis is a clinical condition that causes the sweat glands to over perspire causing social embarressment, limits personal style and can destroy self confidence. However, it can easily be treated through a series of small injections into the muscles surrounding the sweat glands blocking the actions of the nerve endings thus preventing the glands from producing sweat. Botox can be used on the forehead, underarms, palms of the hands and soles of the feet with results lasting from 8-10months.

Q. What is Botox?
A. Botox is one of many trade names for the purified protein derived from botulinum toxin.

Q. How long will the treatment take?
A. Your first appointment will take around 30 minutes as a full medical history and assessment is required before treatment. However the injecting time is usually just a couple on minutes

Q. How long will the results last for facial aesthetic procedures?
A. Results last on average between 3-4 months although with regular treatment results may last up to 6 months.

Q. How long will results lasts when treating excessive sweating?
A. Results wil last between 8-12 months.

Q. How is the treatment administered?
A. Botox procedures do not require anesthesia and usually take just a few minutes to perform. The protein is injected into the muscle using a fine needle in order to minimize discomfort and maximize accuracy.

Q. Will it hurt?
A. Botox is a relatively pain free procedure and does not require anaesthetic.

Q. How will I look straight after my treatment?
A. You may experience a little redness and possible swelling at the sites of injection, these will subside within 30 mins. With any injectable procedure there is always a possibility of some bruising.

Q. Can anyone have Botox?
A. All clients will attend an initial consultation at which your medical aesthetic practitioner will advise whether you are suitable for a Botox treatment. Anyone who is pregnant, breast feeding or suffering from severe neuromuscular disorders, Bell’s palsy or blood coagulation disorders, are not suitable for treatment
