Sclerotherapy, Thermolysis & Laser
Small facial thread veins are a common sign of ageing and are easily and simply treated through the combination of IPL, Intense Pulse Light and RF, Radio Frequency as detailed under skin rejuvenation. Other vascular problems, such as spider and varicose veins, that appear as bluish/reddish vessels are successfully treated through ELOS technology using Laser and RF, Radio Frequency. This high-energy combination targets the vein, resulting in the vessel walls sticking together and the bluish/reddish vessel contours are subsequently metabolised in a natural physiological process. Treatment is suitable for both men and women and is used to eliminate unwanted blemishes on the face, neck, décolleté as well as the legs.
The Laser/IPL, (Intense Pulse Light), system we use at Persona is the most revolutionary medical piece of equipment available to date. It uniquely combines light energy with radio frequency, known as ELOS, allowing the operator to successfully treat all hair and skin types. The Galaxy system gives superb results in permanent hair reduction, the treatment of acne, skin rejuvenation and skin tightening wrinkle reduction and the treatment of thread veins.
Unsightly thread veins and spider veins on the legs and body can be permanently removed through the safe and effective method of sclerotherapy. The treatment involves the introduction of a sclerosing solution into superficial capillaries via a simple injectable technique. A course of treatment is normally required of approximately 3 sessions but this varies depending on individual needs. Thread vein removal can also be achieved non-invasively through Laser treatment.
