Thread Veins
Everyone wants clear, smooth skin that is free from broken veins and blood vessels.
Thread veins and blood spots are extremely common and predominantly affect the face and legs. The causes are mostly unknown although they may be triggered by changes in temperature, smoking, hormonal changes, alcohol and prolonged standing as well as being a possible inherited condition.
'Facial thread veins' is a term often used for the little red, or sometimes purple-blue, veins on the face. These are usually found around the nose but can spread up onto the cheeks. these can easily be removed by either sclerotherapy, laser, or thermolysis.
Unsightly veins on the legs and body can be removed through either sclerotherapy or laser or a combination of both.
Your treating practitioner will advise which method is most suitable for you to give you the best long term results.
