I have had two treatments to reduce the fat on my stomach and to improve the area around my caesarian scar where the muscles are weak.  The procedure was painless and obviously a lot less cheaper than surgery.  The area ,once treated, did become very swollen within 3 days and was very uncomfortable.  I was advised that this is completely normal & to use icepacks and to drink plenty of water for the swelling. After 5 days the swelling subsided and I noticed such a great improvement.  The stomach was virtually flat and I could wear those jeans that have always just been too tight to wear! I started having Botox in 2007 with Persona Medical and I have found over the years this to be more of a “preventative” measure as I have very little “frown lines” now. The team are always friendly and professional and the procedure is quick and pain free. The results show within 2 weeks and normally last up to 4 months. I have been suffering badly from hyperhidrosis since i was about 12 or 13 years old after trying several different 'medications' for it such as Dryclor and countless cans of 'Super Dry' anti-perspirants.  It had got so bad that I felt like I was leaking from my armpits, I would have sweat patches under my arms within 5 mins of leaving my house in the morning.
When I was 18 my cousin had told me she also suffered from Hyperhidrosis as well and she told me about the treatment she had received from Dr Lisa Delamaine at Persona and that it had changed her life.
I decided to contact Persona and find out about what treatments they offered and it was the best call I ever made.  I received botox injections in my arm pits and I couldn't believe how effective it was, it was the first time I could wear a shirt or a t-shirt and not have to worry about patches or have to wear a jacket or jumper especially handy in the summer. 
It lasted nearly twelve months and as soon as the sweating returned I made another appointment and again it was worth every penny.
Dr Lisa was extremely professional and put my nerves at ease and it was a totally painless experience.
I have recommended Botox to anyone who will listen!!

Dear Dr Lisa,
I have recently had botox on my brow to do my 'worry lines'. Apart from being extremely pleased with the procedure, you have also managed to cure me of an acute sinus problem I have had. I have had acute rhinitis for four years, I had an operation last year to bore holes at the back of my nose, burn some stuff away and grind some bone down - it bloody hurt and did not work, I have had that many sprays, steroids to spray up my nose, an emergency steroid one with strong pain killers for when it blocks - nothing worked. Then after a week of having the botox injected, I realised my symptoms were going, and now they have gone just the odd sneeze. Its marvellous. I just thought I would let you know.

I have Botox to treat my frown lines between my eyebrows and lines coming up each side of my eyes.  Treatment is quick, painless and explained very clearly each step of the way.  Effects take between 2-3 weeks to become fully apparent and I am always very pleased with the results, it completely smoothes out the lines that I am concerned about.
