SYringomas

Syringomas are small, benign growths that form in the sweat glands just beneath the skin’s surface. They often appear as tiny, flesh coloured or yellowish bumps. They are commonly clustered around the eyes, cheeks, neck or chest. Although harmless, syringomas can become a cosmetic concern due to their visibility and tendency to multiply over time. And, unlike acne, syringomas don’t go away on their own.
How do we remove Syringomas at Persona?
We remove syringomas using diathermy, a precise, heat-based technique that targets each growth individually. The method allows us to treat the lesions without damaging the surrounding skin.
How does the treatment work?
We use the diathermy device to target each syringoma individually. The fine needle delivers a controlled electrical current that coagulates the growth and initiates a natural healing response.
You can resume most of your daily activities without disruption post treatment.
What to expect after treatment:
Following the procedure, you may notice small scabs or redness at each treatment site. This is a normal response and usually resolves within 7-10 days. As the skin heals, any crusts begin to fall away, revealing smoother, clearer skin.
When to expect results:
To support healing, we recommend keeping the area clean and dry for the first 48 hours. Avoid using makeup or active skincare ingredients (such as retinoids) until your skin is fully healed.
