Chemical Peels

Whether you’re targeting fine lines, acne, pigmentation or dullness, chemical peels offer a non-invasive way to reveal brighter, healthier skin.

Restore radiance and improve skin texture with expertly tailored chemical peel treatments at Persona Medical Aesthetics

What are Chemical Peels?

Chemical peels are advanced skin resurfacing treatments that use a blend of acids to gently exfoliate the outer layers of the skin. This helps to improve tone, texture, and overall clarity. Whether you’re targeting fine lines, acne, pigmentation or dullness, chemical peels offer a non-invasive way to reveal brighter, healthier skin.

Chemical peels can erase the signs of:

  • Ageing
  • Rejuvenate skin
  • Shrink open pores.

Our chemical peeling options mean the skin can be treated at different depths depending on your concerns.

How do Chemical Peels Work?

During the treatment, a specially formulated solution is applied to the skin to break downn the bonds between dead skin cells. This controlled exfoliation encourages cell turnover and stimulates collagen production, which inturn smooths the skin and promotes a more even complexion.

For more of a superficial peel we recommend Obagi Blue Peel radiance.

What to expect after treatment:

After your Chemical Peel treatment your skin to be red, swollen, and potentially sensitive in the first few hoursYou may also experience tingling or burning sensations, especially in the immediate aftermath. Within the first few days, dryness, irritation, and swelling may become more noticeable, and your skin might start to peel or flake. After a week or two, your skin will gradually heal, and the redness and swelling will subside.  If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact the clinic.

When to expect results?

You may notice a visible glow and improved texture within a few days of your first peel. However, results continue to improve as the skin renews itself over the following week. For more significant concerns like acne scarring or pigmentation, we often recommend a course of 3 to 6 peels spaced several weeks apart.

Although some redness or mild peeling may occur, most clients return to their daily routine shortly after treatment.
