How does the treatment work?

Split, torn, or stretched earlobes are common cosmetic concerns, especially among women who wear heavy earrings or have experienced trauma. These issues can be corrected with simple procedures under local anaesthetic.

Earlobe repair surgery is a minor procedure that can treat one or both lobes in the same session, with full numbness ensuring comfort. Earlobe reduction usually takes about 30 minutes per ear and involves numbing, marking, removing excess skin, and closing with stitches.

You’ll stay awake and comfortable during this procedure. Local anesthetic is applied before the area is marked. The surgeon trims excess skin and repairs any tears.

For reduction, they remove a small wedge of tissue to reduce the size. They then reshape and close the earlobe using sutures

What to expect after treatment:

Most patients resume normal activites the next day. Some redness, swelling or tenderness may appear but usually fades within a few days.
