How does the treatment work?

The procedure begins before you come into the clinic with a thorough consultation and suitability assessment.

On the day, the area is cleansed and numbed with local anaesthetic.

For the arms, Dr Braham typically makes small, discreet incisions along the inner arm to minimise visible scarring.

For the stomach, incisions go in natural skin creases or lower abdominal folds for discreet healing.

Dr Braham carefully removes the excess skin and repositions the remaining skin for a smooth, tightened results. Fine sutures close the incisions to minimise scarring.

Because this treatment focuses on skin only, the recovery process is generally quicker and more comfortable compared to more invasive surgeries.

What to expect after treatment:

After arm or stomach skin tightening surgery, you can expect mild swelling, bruising and a feeling of tightness during the first few days. The team applies dressings, and in many cases, recommends a compression garment to support healing and reduce swelling.

Most people return to everyday activities within 2-4 days, but should avoid strenuous exercise, heavy lifting and repetitive arm movements for around 4-6 weeks to allow proper healing.

When to expect results:

Skin tags

Skin tags are generally small, noncancerous growths that tend to be the same colour as your skin. They often look like a cluster of skin tissue extending out from a tiny stem. They’re sometimes darker and may resemble a raised mole.

Keratosis

Keratosis is a common benign skin growth, similar to a mole. Most people will have at least one in their lifetime. They tend to appear in mid-adulthood and their frequency increases with age. They are harmless and easily treated.

Lipoma

Syringomas

Syringomas are small, firm, benign bumps that form when sweat glands become overactive. They are skin-coloured, yellowish, brown, or pink, and are usually 1–3 millimeters wide. They often appear in clusters on both sides of the body.

Xanthelasma

Xanthelasma, or xanthelasma palpebrarum (XP), is a harmless, yellow growth that appears on or by the corners of your eyelids next to your nose. Cholesterol deposits build up under your skin which is the cause of these.

Venous Lake

A venous lake is a soft, squashable, blue or purple macule or papule. Although they may arise anywhere, most venous lakes are diagnosed on the lower lip (on the vermilion margin or mucosal surface), on an earlobe, or elsewhere on the face, neck, or upper trunk.

Milia (or milium) are tiny white bumps near the surface of your skin. Anyone can get them at any time of life. You can find them anywhere on the body, but they often cluster around the eyes, nose, cheeks and forehead.
