What is Tear Trough Filler?
Tear Trough filler is a non-surgical treatment that targets dark circles, hollowness and tired looking eyes. The ‘tear trough’ refers to the area between your lower eyelid and upper cheek. Over time, this area can lose volume, creating shadows and a sunken appearance.
To combat this, our qualified medical practitioners carefully inject hyaluronic acid based dermal filler into the tear trough.

How does the treatment work?
Before any treatment is carried out, the practitioner will assess your facial structure and discuss your goals. Then, after applying a topical numbing cream, a fine needle or cannula is used to inject the filler along the tear trough.
Because hyaluronic acid is a substance found naturally in the body, it integrates into your tissue smoothly. Unlike more invasive options, tear trough filler offers immediate results without the need for surgery. As the filler settles, the under eye area appears smoother and brighter.
What to expect after treatment:
After your Tear Trough treatment you may experience temporary side effects such as redness, swelling, and possible bruising at the injection sites. These will usually subside within a few days. You may also experience mild tenderness or pain which can be managed with over the counter pain relief. If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact the clinic.
When to expect results:
Results can be seen almost instantly after the treatment. However, optimal results become visible over the next 7-14 days as any initial swelling or bruising reduces and the filler fully integrates with your skin.
To maintain the effects, many clients return for a top up every 9-12 months. The longevity of the results depend on factors such as metabolism, lifestyle, and the type of filler used.
